Stefanie is the Co-Owner and Clinic Administrator of Nuvel Skin & Laser, where she oversees the day-to-day operations and works closely behind the scenes to support both the team and the patient experience. From coordinating clinic systems to refining the many details that patients may never see, she helps ensure every visit feels welcoming, organized, and seamless.

With a background in psychology, training as a therapist, and currently completing her Master’s degree, Stefanie brings a calm, people-focused perspective to the clinic. She believes that listening, empathy, and thoughtful communication are just as important as efficiency, helping create an environment where patients feel comfortable, respected, and genuinely cared for.

Working alongside Dr. Cornel Barnard, Stefanie has helped shape Nuvel into a physician-led clinic built on professionalism, honesty, and personalized care. She is passionate about creating a positive workplace culture that allows the team to deliver the exceptional experience patients have come to expect.

Carly received her Certified Laser Specialist designation in 2008 and has been a dedicated professional in medical aesthetics since then. With over 17 years of hands-on experience working with a wide range of advanced devices, she has collaborated closely with dermatologists and physician injectors, bringing a wealth of expertise to patient consultations. Her ability to design personalized treatment and skincare plans ensures every client receives the highest standard of care.

Carly is extensively trained in CoolSculpting, Fraxel Dual, photorejuvenation, Clear + Brilliant, Microneedling, skin tightening, Chemical peels and many other technologies. She is highly regarded for her technical skill, professionalism, and warm calming demeanor that puts patients at ease throughout their treatment journey.

Ainslie has over 35 years in the medical industry, including 16 years in aesthetics, bringing extensive knowledge and experience. As our Skin Care Specialist, she offers personalized regimes with attentive, cheerful care and serves as the Primary Physician’s Assistant for MD Codes. She is also skilled in CoolSculpting, Microneedling, Ultherapy, Thermage, HydraFacial, Fraxel, and Clear + Brilliant, ensuring patients feel valued and comfortable throughout treatments.

Originally from Alberta, Samantha recently made the Okanagan her home. She completed her Advanced Dermal Skin Care and Laser Technologies diploma at All Body Laser in Vancouver, where she received comprehensive training in advanced skin care and laser treatments.

Before entering medical aesthetics, Samantha worked as a professional artist, developing the creativity, precision, and attention to detail that continue to influence her approach to patient care. Combined with her technical training, she is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, confident skin through personalized treatment plans.

Having experienced sensitive skin herself from a young age, Samantha understands the impact skin concerns can have on confidence. She is committed to providing compassionate, detail-oriented care while helping patients achieve natural, lasting results.

Outside the clinic, Samantha enjoys painting and spending time with her two Huskies.

Two years ago, Chantel made the Okanagan her permanent home after spending many childhood summers here. She brings both skill and heart to her work, with a diverse background in Aesthetics that includes therapeutic massage and spa treatments. Her experience also extends beyond aesthetics, having supported marginalized youth in the public education system and spent many years working with individuals with developmental and physical disabilities.

As the first smile you see when you arrive at Nuvel Skin & Laser, her warmth and compassion create a welcoming, comfortable experience. Passionate about empowering others, focused on creating a space where everyone feels valued, supported, and cared for. Chantel is dedicated to making every visit to Nuvel Skin & Laser a positive one.

As one of the friendly faces welcoming patients to Nuvel Skin & Laser, Addi is dedicated to creating a warm, friendly, and positive experience from the moment you arrive. With a background in the beauty industry and a growing passion for medical aesthetics, she enjoys helping patients feel comfortable and well cared for throughout their visit.

Known for her upbeat personality and genuine kindness, Addi loves building connections with patients and contributing to the welcoming atmosphere that defines Nuvel. She is excited to continue learning and developing her skills, with the goal of becoming a laser technician in the future.

Outside the clinic, Addi enjoys writing, spending time on the golf course, and listening to music.
